Minor & Accelerated Degree Options

Minor

The minor in Latin American and Latinx studies enhances a variety of majors that prepare you for a career in law, education, justice administration, healthcare, social work and business. A minor will increase your understanding of and cultural sensitivity to people from diverse backgrounds.

Scholar Teacher Education Program (STEP)

Students in this program are also eligible to enter STEP, which allows you to earn a master’s degree and prepare for teacher certification with one additional year, saving you time and tuition costs.
